Brian Salter

Brian Salter began his career in the BBC, where for a number of years he produced and presented features and current affairs programmes on the World Service, as well as being an editor in both the domestic radio and TV newsrooms and Assistant Presentation Editor for (domestic) Radio 4.

He left the BBC to join Heathrow Airport as Media Relations Manager and thereafter filled a number of roles as Communications Director in various blue-chip companies (Manchester Airport, Acorn Computers, Yorkshire Electricity, Institute of Directors etc), before starting his own consultancy.

In 1999 he took up his first job in Saudi Arabia, where he subsequently worked for eight years, eventually running his own communications consultancy while also acting as a news anchor and current affairs presenter on the English language service of Saudi Television (KSA2).

After four years in Abu Dhabi and Dubai where he worked in various communications companies, as well as a journalist for diverse magazines, he moved to Beijing in 2010, working as a journalist for China Daily before crossing over to CCTV News (now CGTN) as a current affairs programme editor. He also regularly appeared on air as a guest contributor and wrote regular columns for China Today, Beijing Review, Global Times etc.

He is now based both in the Philippines and the UK where he undertakes international consultancy work, as well as acting as an English language editor for a number of publishers. He writes speeches for chairmen and CEOs; writes press releases and articles for various companies; and also specialises in giving courses to CEOs and Board Directors on how to cope with giving interviews to the press and broadcast media. His list of clients includes Saudi Railways, Riyadh Airports, CGTN Opinion channel, Almarai, BAE Systems, Lockheed, Nadec, SAPTCO, Saudi Post, etc.

In addition to recording voice-overs for TV stations (Hong Kong One TV, CGTN Beijing etc), Brian also specialises in 360-degree (virtual reality) photography (see https://www.360cities.net/profile/briansalter) which more and more companies are now using for their social media and web sites. To date, Brian has written and published over 30 books on business, technology, medical and travel.

Ali Zein

He started his career with impact BBDO in 1995 as “Arabic Copywriter” and worked in parallel as TV Producer for many TV programs…. He worked on different telecom accounts: Syriatel, Sabaa phone, Pepsi and real state projects
In 2001 he moved with another agency to Cairo as Creative Director working on Tourism of Egypt, Vodafone, Nestle Ice Cream, Lipton, Shell and CIB .

In 2006, Ali joined impact BBDO again but in Cairo as “Executive Creative Director” for Egypt, working on Etisalat, Pepsi, Rotana TV, Barclays and EFG Hermes.

In 2010 he moved back to the Beirut office as “Regional Creative Director” handling many regional projects for the region like BLOM Bank, LBC TV, New TV, Future TV, RYMCO, Snickers, GE corporate, Steel factories, cement, P&G products, Government and nonprofit campaigns for many ministries and UN projects……He used to launch many automobile and real-estate campaigns at the Iraqi and Syrian market.

In 2015 he moved with Impact BBDO to KSA as an executive creative director handling Riyadh bank, Mobili telecom, Tawuniya insurance, Fitness time chain, Maestro Pizza and ministries campaign.

In 2017, Ali moved to Dubai BBDO office, as a regional executive creative director, focusing on the whole portfolio of Etisalat telecom account
He was also a member for more than once in a jury of the graduation project of many ad schools and awards events + winning many awards for telecom clients including Cannes, Clio, One Show, Epica, Effie’s and Dubai lynx.
